Before you render in Collaroy
What changes a rendering job here, each from the council plan, heritage register or data sheet it comes from.
Coast
Beachfront upkeep
Most of Collaroy's housing land is within 1 km of breaking surf, and the beachfront strip within 100 m of the ocean. Render there needs more care than inland: Rockcote asks for a wash-down every 12 months, and more often for painted or textured finishes near the coast. That zone also puts polystyrene systems under Unitex's Class 4 or 316 stainless fixing rule.

Bush fire
Plateau escarpment
Parts of Collaroy's housing land, mostly below the Collaroy Plateau escarpment, are mapped bush fire prone. On those blocks exempt re-rendering must be ember-sealed and use equal or better materials.
For your render: On bush fire prone land the render or cladding system has to suit the block's bush fire attack level (BAL), with gaps sealed against embers. Polystyrene cladding

Heritage
Listed beach houses
Warringah LEP 2011 lists several houses in Collaroy. Their facades cannot be re-rendered as exempt work.
For your render: We check your address against these rules before quoting, so the render, finish and colour suit what the council allows there. Cement rendering

Reviews
What our clients say
Courteous, tidy, protected the area from debris, cleaned up after and a good job
“Very professional and so helpful! Good communication and a fair price! Arrived nice and early! The rendering was done very well and looks great. The boys were very careful and made no mess! I have no hesitation in recommending Ali and his workers! I am definitely a very happy customer! Job: rear of house rendering plus a variety of rendering repairs in various places! Thank you so much!”
★★★★★Gregory Williams · “We loved dealing with Ali and his team. They are all lovely and really good renderers. We wanted something a little different (a thickly applied splattered style) in some parts of the house,”bagged” in other areas and smooth render in other parts…all was no problem, and expertly done. All fairly priced too. We would definitely recommend Finishing Touch Rendering. Stephanie and David.”
