Rendering in Concord

Concord's 1920s bungalows sit in conservation areas where render appears only as trim bands, matched when redone; the face brick is not rendered or bagged. Cement and acrylic rendering in Concord, with a free quote.

Before you render in Concord

What changes a rendering job here, each from the council plan, heritage register or data sheet it comes from.

  1. Heritage

Creewood Street and Lindfield Avenue bungalows

Creewood Street (developed from 1926) and Lindfield Avenue are conservation areas of intact Inter-War California bungalows in dark or liver face brick, with cement render used only as bands on verandahs and lintels. Canada Bay does not permit painting, rendering or bagging that face brick, so a job here is usually repair of the existing render trim, not a full re-render.

For your render: We check your address against these rules before quoting, so the render, finish and colour suit what the council allows there. Cement rendering

  2. Heritage

    Park Avenue Victorian villas

The Park Avenue conservation area is a group of Victorian villas on large lots facing the park, where render was used on some of the earlier homes. Existing original render should keep its texture when it is repaired.

  3. Heritage

    Many listed houses

Concord has a long heritage list, with many individual houses on it. Re-rendering or painting a listed house needs consent, so check Schedule 5 for the address before choosing a finish.

Courteous, tidy, protected the area from debris, cleaned up after and a good job
★★★★★Michael Liberman · · Google
  • “Very professional and so helpful! Good communication and a fair price! Arrived nice and early! The rendering was done very well and looks great. The boys were very careful and made no mess! I have no hesitation in recommending Ali and his workers! I am definitely a very happy customer! Job: rear of house rendering plus a variety of rendering repairs in various places! Thank you so much!”
    ★★★★★Gregory Williams ·
  • “We loved dealing with Ali and his team. They are all lovely and really good renderers. We wanted something a little different (a thickly applied splattered style) in some parts of the house,”bagged” in other areas and smooth render in other parts…all was no problem, and expertly done. All fairly priced too. We would definitely recommend Finishing Touch Rendering. Stephanie and David.”
