Rendering in Barangaroo

Barangaroo is planned under a State precinct policy rather than the Sydney LEP, and much of it sits by the harbour, where render needs more upkeep. Cement and acrylic rendering in Barangaroo, with a free quote.

Before you render in Barangaroo

What changes a rendering job here, each from the council plan, heritage register or data sheet it comes from.

  1. Council

    State precinct planning rules

Barangaroo is planned under the Precincts (Eastern Harbour City) SEPP rather than the Sydney LEP, so the usual Sydney LEP heritage map and DCP heritage area rules are not the starting point here.

  2. Coast

    Harbour air and upkeep

Much of Barangaroo is within 100 m of the harbour, where render needs more care: Rockcote asks for its systems to be washed down every 12 months, and more often for painted or textured finishes near the coast. Polystyrene cladding here takes Class 4 or 316 stainless steel fixing screws under Unitex's manual.

  • “Very professional and so helpful! Good communication and a fair price! Arrived nice and early! The rendering was done very well and looks great. The boys were very careful and made no mess! I have no hesitation in recommending Ali and his workers! I am definitely a very happy customer! Job: rear of house rendering plus a variety of rendering repairs in various places! Thank you so much!”
    ★★★★★Gregory Williams ·
  • “We loved dealing with Ali and his team. They are all lovely and really good renderers. We wanted something a little different (a thickly applied splattered style) in some parts of the house,”bagged” in other areas and smooth render in other parts…all was no problem, and expertly done. All fairly priced too. We would definitely recommend Finishing Touch Rendering. Stephanie and David.”
