Heritage
The Valley and Iron Cove conservation areas
Much of Rozelle is in The Valley or Iron Cove conservation areas, with Easton Park and Hornsey Street besides. Any change to finish or colour there needs consent. In Easton Park, new structures on exposed rock face are to be timber or rendered masonry coloured to suit the sandstone.

Salt air on the bays
Blocks within 100 metres of the harbour and its bays ask more of a rendered wall: Rockcote wants its systems washed down every 12 months, and painted or textured finishes near the coast cleaned more often. Polystyrene cladding in that strip takes Unitex's Class 4 or 316 stainless steel fixings.
